SO... MORE ABOUT ME

You've made it this far, so here's a bit more about me.

I am Indiana born, raised and educated, receiving my bachelor's degree from Anderson University in journalism and my master's in public relations from Ball State. I lived and worked in and around Chicago for almost 20 years, and it was a privilege to rub elbows with a wide variety of interesting and innovative clients while working at PR firms there, and an even greater privilege to manage the PR efforts at the local Six Flags park. 

 

Life brought me back to Indiana, and I'm happy to live in Fort Wayne at a less frenetic pace. And to write. I've loved writing since I was a child, and I am still happiest when I'm up to my elbows in a great writing project. 

 

I love to travel, bike, hike and kayak. I'm a flat-lander whose happy place is the beach... and the mountains. My husband and I are National Park geeks, and we have a goal of visiting all 63 of them (16 down and counting... so, yeah, GOALS)!

 

Favorite band: Switchfoot!

All-time favorite time-waster: a really big jigsaw puzzle.
